Hello. I’m a Chicago-based writer of literary fiction. My writing weaves together the bright, the dark and the magical.
For twenty years, I’ve written award-winning marketing and voices for brands, which each have a unique story to tell. Maybe that’s why, for me, every piece of fiction starts with voice. Once I hear a character speak, I can develop their story. I like to play with time and multiple points of view, often through first-person perspectives. In art, like in life, arriving at any worthwhile truth is rarely a linear or single-pointed process.
I hold an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte. My stories have appeared in the Michigan Quarterly Review, Digital Americana, r.kv.r.y. and other journals.
